Andrew Boss Commission

British Saxophonist, Gilly Blair and I are excited to lead a consortium commission for a new work by Andrew Boss! This new piece will be written for alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and piano, with a duration around 8-10 minutes. The work will be premiered in July, 2018 at the World Saxophone Congress in Zagreb, Croatia. Andrew Boss is currently on Composition/Theory Faculty at Florida Atlantic University. His works have been commissioned and performed by The University of Texas Wind Ensemble, Dallas Winds, and Symphony Number One. No stranger to the saxophone, he has previously written a wonderful piano quintet and a beautiful alto saxophone concerto.
