Summer Immersion Experience - Open Space

I am excited to be teaching at Open Space this summer! Open Space is Nebraska's premier summer art immersion programs that are specifically designed for high school juniors and sophomores who are interested in the performing arts.

Held June 6-12, 2021, on the Hastings College campus, Open Space is led by our renowned faculty and includes lodging in the Hastings College residence halls, instruction, supplies and meals. Open Space for the Performing Arts focuses on master classes in:

• Instrumental (Brass Quintet, Woodwind Ensemble, Percussion)

• Piano

• Voice

• Theatre Arts (Acting and Technical)

• Plus electives like Improv, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and more!

While valued at more than $1,000, a significant scholarship from our Foundation underwrites the cost so students who apply and are accepted receive a scholarship that lowers the cost for this incredible experience to just $250! No selected student will be turned away due to finances, as financial aid is available to families who qualify for the free and reduced lunch program.
